Bruno Mars has spoken out after becoming the target of a lot of scrutiny on social media after Taylor Swift fans realised that the singer had liked a post bashing her.

The Finesse singer appeared to have interacted with an Instagram reel with the caption, “Genuinely how did she get famous? White privilege is crazy because imagine if an Asian was as talentless as her” with a clip of the 14-time Grammy winner from her Eras Tour.

Multiple social media accounts and fans quickly noticed the record producer’s like, which has been debunked to be most likely edited, on the reel and were quick to bash him over the move.

However, Bruno regardless responded to a post highlighting his move on X, writing, “Taylor has always been supportive and kind to me. Only love over here,” with a red heart emoji.

The Leave The Door Open singer also made another post on the app, “Spread Love on these apps!” with a rose emoji, likely referring to the incident.

Notably, Taylor’s staunch supporters have taken to the comments under the post to call him out and bash him further, despite the clarification.
