Lamar Odom, who was married to Khloé Kardashian soon after meeting her, recently revealed his thoughts about the separation.
The pair got married in 2009 and had a very messy journey of seven years together.
During their time together, the podcaster and her lover were widely known for their intense romance and dedicated reality show, Khloé & Lamar by E!.
Now, reflecting on the time together, the former basketball player has gushed about the tragic end and his lingering feelings.
Present on the Double Coverage podcast, the NBA player opened up, “that's probably one of my worst my biggest mistakes ever.”
He added, “I told God that I was going to take care of this woman and be with her forever. And stepped out on him like I lied to God in his face and you know death could divorce could be like death.”
The athlete also gushed about his brother, Rob, who he has no contact with and revealed that losing people hurts, but we still have to move on.
The 46-year-old concluded, “it's painful, but that's something that I regret. And I'm, you know, Eventually, I'll be paying for it probably for the rest of my life.”
Lamar also described being married to The Kardashians star as “red carpet rolled out everywhere you go” and something that was “amazing.”
It is to be noted that the couple broke up because of Lamar’s drug consumption and rumours about his infidelity.
