Barry Keoghan is gearing to portray the legendry musician, Ringo Starr in upcoming the Beatles biopic.

The Saltburn star broke his silence on the impactful journey of working on the project.

In an interview with the Collider he said, "It's emotional. It is."

"Because The Beatles, for me, I've met Ringo and Paul (McCartney), but you get to know the lads very much through all the research," he explained. "It's not pressure, it's sort of like you just want to do them good."

In addition to Keoghan, the movie also includes Paul Mescal as McCartney, Harris Dickinson as John Lennon and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison.

Liverpool is being the centre of their work, since the band was originated from here.

Sharing his experience while being in Liverpool, the Peaky Blinders star said, "filming up in Liverpool, they’re such lovely people and very welcoming to it."

The Beatles — A Four-Film Cinematic Event will consist of four films, each told from the perspective of one of band members.

The film also stars Saoirse Ronan as Linda McCartney, Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey, Anna Sawai as Yoko Ono and Aimee Lou Wood as Pattie Boyd.

It is slated for release somewhere in April 2028.
