Jack Harlow has two exciting events happening at once, since the singer has decided to drop his fourth studio album, Monica on his big day.
The Lovin on Me singer has released the new record on March 13, which is also the day he marks his 28th birthday, announcing the news on his social media.
In an Instagram post, the Louisville emcee wrote, “Just turned 28. Monica out now everywhere,” alongside an image of him wearing a brown jacket and cap in front of a billboard promoting the album.
Monica has nine tracks and features artists such as Robert Glasper, Ravyn Lenae, Omar Apollo, and a handful of producers.
The album seems to have a mixed reception as of yet, as internet users have taken to social media to dish their thoughts on Jack’s latest release.
One netizen wrote on X, “Feels unfinished. Needs a little more experimentation, but it still decent. 77/100,” while another remarked, “it’s amazing, i was hoping for RNB for this one.”
“Still listening to it, very different but I really like it, I appreciate that he’s singing more and put effort into it !! Have been saving every song so far!!” a third internet user wrote as a fourth commented, “R&b is my fav genre so i would’ve loved for this to be good but its mid.”
