Kanye West appears to be facing legal trouble surrounding a music video for La Roux, featuring model Jennifer An.
The Flashing Lights singer has been accused of serious crimes such as sexual assault and strangulation, which has now been corroborated by the synth-pop act itself.
As per a new filing, an Instagram DM between the alleged victim and singer Elly Jackson validates her story, with his perspective.
The singer had written “I could never forget that, it was horrific. How can I help? I have never seen the footage (thankfully) and obviously I asked for it to never be used or for it to be seen as you were understandably very concerned about anyone or your family seeing it…”
Jackson then went on to add that he would have no issues with being honest about what he witnessed and would be willing to give his account if she required.
Meanwhile the complaint notes, “Defendant WEST smothered Plaintiff’s face…He then rammed several fingers down her throat, continuously moved them in and out, and gagged her (which Plaintiff believed lasted for over a minute) to emulate forced oral sex…”
It continued that West screamed that this is art and that he was like Picasso as the plaintiff had struggled to breathe at the time and felt like she had temporarily blacked out.
The Runaway rapper’s lawyers have filed to dismiss the suit, claiming that he was only emulating sexual violence for the purpose of producing expressive art which is not a crime.
