Lily Collins is set to portray the legendary actress Audrey Hepburn.
The Emily in Paris star is set to star as the iconic performer in a film based on the book, Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the Dawn of the Modern Woman.
The movie will be focused on a specific time in her career, when she worked on the Breakfast at Tiffany’s project.
While fans debated over the casting, calling it a "bold choice," Sean Hepburn Ferrer, son of Audrey couldn’t help but rave about the Love, Rosie star.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, he said, "I love Lily Collins. Sam Wasson, the book’s writer, is a good friend of mine and I’m very happy for him. I don’t have any huge thoughts on the film as it hasn’t been made yet."
"I believe that my mother might cringe at Dawn of the Modern Woman, but she cringed at any compliment," he added, "And now there are two films in prep for her, this one and Dinner with Audrey."
Audrey was a British actress, fashion icon, and humanitarian. She had her breakthrough in 1953 for her role in Roman Holiday and even won her first ever Oscar for Best Actress.
Her role as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961) is one of the most iconic role.
The upcoming film starring Lily as Audrey has no official release date yet.
