Britney Spears’ Instagram page has mysteriously vanished after her dramatic arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence, leaving fans worried about the pop star’s latest ordeal.

The 44-year-old singer was reportedly taken into custody by the California Highway Patrol at around 9.30pm on Wednesday night in Ventura County.

According to reports, she was handcuffed on suspicion of DUI before being booked in the early hours of Thursday morning at about 3am.

Notably, Toxic singer was later released around 6am.

Adding to the mystery, Britney’s usually lively Instagram account disappeared days before the arrest and remains unavailable.

Anyone attempting to view the page is met with a message reading: “Sorry, this page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.”

It remains unclear whether Gimme More hitmaker deleted the account herself or if it was removed by Instagram.

The songstress had been highly active on the platform, often posting clips of herself dancing at home under the handle @britneyspears and the screen name XILA MARIA RIVER RED.

Her X (formerly Twitter) account is still active, although she hasn’t posted there since October.

Authorities reportedly began pursuing a vehicle believed to be driven by Britney after receiving calls about a car swerving across lanes on Highway 101 and braking erratically.

Dispatchers described a “black sedan” with no tail light weaving along the freeway.

Police eventually stopped the car shortly after 9.13pm, with officers heard in a dispatch recording saying the driver had exited the vehicle and they were “talking with the driver”.

Reports later claimed an unknown substance was allegedly found in the vehicle and may be included in the arrest report.

Criminal singer has been released and is scheduled to appear in court on May 4.
