‘Lizzie McGuire’ actor Robert Carradine death: New details emerge

Robert Carradine’s death had a distressing detail that has come to light days after the actor’s passing on February 23rd.

The Lizzie McGuire actor’s family had previously opened up about his mental health issues, and now his manner of death has been confirmed by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office.

As per the report, the 71-year-old committed suicide, which was somewhat indicated in the statement issued by his family confirming the tragic news.

"We are bereft at the loss of this beautiful soul and want to acknowledge Bobby’s valiant struggle against his nearly two-decade battle with bipolar disorder. We hope his journey can shine a light and encourage addressing the stigma that attaches to mental illness,” it read.

Robert’s family also asked for privacy following his death, as they navigate the unfathomable loss of him as a father, grandfather, uncle and brother.

Notably, Hilary Duff, who played the titular character of Lizzie McGuire in the famous series, had also taken to her Instagram to pen a short note for the late star writing that her heart ached for his family and that she was saddened to learn of his suffering before his passing.
