Kelly Osbourne has launched a fierce response to cruel online trolls who compared her to “a dead body,” calling the abuse “disgusting” and unacceptable.
The 41-year-old TV star, still grieving the death of her father, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away last year aged 76, shared a screenshot of the vile comment on her Instagram Stories.
The post read: “Looks like a dead body… She’s toooooo thin and fragile… Looks like she’s going to see her dad soon [crying laughing emojis].”
In response, Kelly captioned the post: “Literally can’t believe how disgusting some human beings truly are! No one deserves this sort of abuse!”
She also added a quote: “This too shall pass, but like, holy f**.”*
The songstress has been open about her struggles with body image and weight for years.
In 2025, she spoke candidly about the relentless trolling she faced online, especially after her father’s death.
In a heartfelt, now-deleted video, she told fans: “To the people who keep thinking they’re being funny and mean… my dad just died, and I’m doing the best I can.
The only thing I have to live for right now is my family… So to all those people, f** off.”*
Her mother, Sharon Osbourne, supported her during a chat on Piers Morgan Uncensored, saying: “She’s right. She’s lost her daddy, she can’t eat right now.”
Kelly, whose brother is TV personality Jack Osbourne has faced criticism for both being overweight and underweight in the past, and has called out the hypocrisy of trolls.
Speaking to PEOPLE, she reflected: “I’ve been a complete mess… but I got more s** for being fat than I did for anything else. It’s insane.”*
