Timothy Busfield’s case is moving forward, and it appears that the former actor is steadfastly maintaining his innocence against jaw-dropping allegations.
The 68-year-old got indicted by a Bernalillo County grand jury following his hearing, on four counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor on February 6th.
Meanwhile the Thirtysomething actor has plead not guilty to the charges of criminal sexual contact of a minor and child abuse.
As per People magazine, “On Feb. 11, he waived his arraignment and appearances in court for all pretrial proceedings. Judge Joseph Montano granted the request on Feb. 18,” with he referring to Timothy.
This means that the West Wing actor’s next hearing, which is a scheduling conference on March 10th, will be attended by his legal team, and a witness list has also been issued.
Timothy has claimed that he did not do anything wrong since he was taken into custody on January 13th, after being accused of unlawful sexual conduct by the parents of two 11-year-old boys.
Notably, the alleged victims’ parents maintained that Timothy committed the acts while directing the series The Cleaning Lady, which the minors starred in.
