Halle Berry is making it clear that she’s not here to play nice.
At 59, the Oscar-winning actress stars in the thrilling new movie Crime 101, rubbing shoulders with Chris Hemsworth, Nick Nolte, and Mark Ruffalo
Most importantly, she’s convinced she could pull off a heist better than any of them.
Speaking to E! News, Halle said: “They just know that I have reached a stage where I have zero f**** to give.
So they know I would try it. Why not? I have no more f**** to give.”
The Catwoman actress has long been a champion for women in Hollywood, and she’s refusing to fade into the background.
She isn’t planning to fade away or disappear.
Swordfish star sees this as the start of the next chapter in her career and is excited for what’s ahead and is focused on doing her part and making it count.
In Crime 101, Halle’s character faces ageism and misogyny, a storyline she knows all too well.
Speaking to Variety, she said: “We’re not done at 50, 60, even 70. We have so much more to offer.
I’m 60 this year and I feel like I’m just getting my second groove started, so not done.”
And true to form, Halle has no qualms about calling out sexism.
In one scene, her character tells a male boss to “shut the f*** up”, something she admits she’s done herself.
