Nick Jonas ‘freaked out’ after Priyanka’s shocking 'Citadel' accident

Nick Jonas has lifted the lid on the terrifying moment wife Priyanka Chopra was left bleeding on set.

The 33-year-old singer couldn’t hide his admiration as he recalled a shocking accident during filming for spy thriller Citadel. 

A camera matte box reportedly struck Priyanka in the eyebrow mid-action sequence, leaving her injured and covered in blood.

“I’m freaking out,” Nick admitted. 

But while he panicked, the 43-year-old actress powered through like a true action queen. 

She insisted on finishing the scene despite the injury, as Quantico star was determined not to waste the take.

“She was like, ‘We need that to get this scene. I’m gonna tough it out,’” he revealed. 

“Her determination, her grit, her willingness to get her hands dirty really shows on the screen.”

And it seems the admiration runs both ways. 

Priyanka has also gushed over the Camp Rock actor’s “sincerity”, admitting she’s learned to embrace her own insecurities since marrying the Jonas Brothers star in 2018.

“He is completely transparent,” she said. “That deep truth is rare.”

The power couple, who welcomed their daughter via surrogate in January 2022, appear stronger than ever. 

Nick previously confessed that fatherhood has “changed everything”, giving him a whole new outlook on life.
