The 37-year-old was left heartbroken after the dog, that she and Austin owned, passed away. She turned to her Instagram and penned down a note.
Although the High School Musical star paid a gushing tribute to the late pet, the online community debated about a possible shade towards the Dune: Part Two star.
She noted how Darla was not fond of men, speculating that she might have been abused in the past. However, she instantly connected with Vanessa’s now husband “the moment she met” him.
According to her, the furry friend’s connection with Cole Tucker was a tell-tale sign that “he was my guy” as she walked the aisle with them and “watched our vows intently.”
One of the X users hesitantly called her out for seemingly dragging Austin, noting that they never “want to hate on the women” dating their favourite celebrities.
