Marvel has seemingly ended its 16-year Super Bowl streak by skipping trailer debut of the most highly anticipated films in 2026.

The trailer releases have played a key role in generating momentum for Marvel projects, with past entries like Avengers: Endgame, breaking record for the most viewed preview in 24 hours.

While the fans were eagerly eyeing the day to get first glimpse at Avengers: Doomsday and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, they were left disappointed when no insight was given throughout the event.

Spider-Man having no trailer during the event, surprised fans more since the film is set to premiere in the next five months and trailer has also been leaked online twice over the past months.

As for Doomsday, while it will be released later towards the end of the year,, fans were anticipating its promo since the makers has officially unveiled four different clips in theatres between December 2025 and January 2026.

Audience expressed their frustration via social media, calling the decision a "missed opportunity."

A user wrote, "Can’t believe Doomsday is about to be the first Avengers movie in history without Super Bowl teaser."

Another echoed the sentiment, saying, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day not having ANYTHING when the movie drops in 5 months is just …. Flat weird."

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be one of the greatest cinematic event with an ensemble of stellar cast. The film is slated for release on December 18.

Meanwhile, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will premiere on July 31.
