Ben Affleck has pulled off the ultimate nostalgia flex, reuniting Friends favourites Jennifer Aniston and Matt LeBlanc in his latest Dunkin’ Donuts advert.

Notably, it’s already being dubbed one of the most talked-about Super Bowl commercials of the year.

The 53-year-old Hollywood star, who’s been the face of the coffee chain for several years, went all-in on 90s sitcom magic for the ad, which aired during Sunday’s Super Bowl coverage.

The skit, titled Good Will Dunkin’, cheekily riffs on Affleck’s Oscar-winning 1997 film Good Will Hunting, with The Town actor donning a blond wig reminiscent of Matt Damon’s iconic look from the movie.

The advert opens with a tongue-in-cheek caption suggesting Good Will Hunting was first imagined as a “bad sitcom”, before cutting to a Dunkin’ store packed with TV royalty.

Alongside LeBlanc and Aniston are Cheers legend Ted Danson, Seinfeld star Jason Alexander and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air favourite Alfonso Ribeiro.

The 58-year-old actor leans fully into his Joey Tribbiani roots, complete with wig and wardrobe, while Affleck even borrows Joey’s famous “How you doin’?” line.

The biggest laugh comes when The Accountant star references Friends’ most infamous moment, declaring: “We were on a break!”

Aniston later pops up styled exactly like Rachel Green, before casually revealing her on-screen boyfriend as NFL icon Tom Brady.
