Harry Potter star Lox Pratt, hinted at exciting new details about what fans can expect from the forthcoming TV series.
Pratt is set to be the new of face of antagonist Draco Malfoy, previously portrayed by Tom Felton in 2000s film series.
In an interview with the 1883 magazine to promote his debut TV series adaptation of George Golding's novel Lord of the Flies, the young British star revealed how the show will be different from original films.
The 14-year-old shared that the adaptation will be "so much more than the books" as well as the films. He noted that while both the mediums are "very much over Harry's shoulder" there is more to it.
Crediting director Mark Mylod and showrunner Francesca Gardiner for their approach towards the making of the series, he revealed that they have been vocal about this issue in their interviewers.
Giving a rare insight into what little changes one might witness, Pratt added, “You get to see all the teachers in their little rooms. You get to see Draco at home.”
Being careful over not giving away the spoilers, teasing about Draco, he further said, "There are some brilliant scenes at home where you start to get an insight into how he is."
Expressing his gratitude to the production, Pratt said that due to having freedom to explore the character, he got to see Draco as more than just a sneery villain.
Calling out film's Draco is "sort of 2D" he continued hinting at more depth to his character, such as, "you see little glints of it in the film with Lucius and stuff. I think [the series] is really brilliant. I can’t wait to bring it to the screen."
Harry Potter TV series season one will premiere on HBO Max somewhere in early 2027.
