Miranda Kerr breaks silence on Orlando Bloom divorce

Miranda Kerr has lifted the lid on her past marriage to Orlando Bloom.

The 42-year-old Aussie supermodel admitted that the Hollywood romance simply wasn’t working behind closed doors.

For those unfamiliar, she was married to the Pirates of the Caribbean star from 2010 to 2013, but says the pair weren’t “bringing out the best” in each other during their time as husband and wife. 

Speaking candidly on the We Need to Talk podcast, Miranda made it clear there’s no bitterness left and just honesty and growth.

“These days, Orlando and I are great friends,” she revealed, sharing that the former couple regularly stay in touch for the sake of their son Flynn, now 15. 

It's worth noting that she also recently wished Orlando a happy birthday, with the actor thanking her for being “a wonderful mother” and a supportive friend. 

“I feel the same,” she added warmly.

Despite the happy co-parenting setup, Miranda admitted their marriage struggled under the glare of fame. 

Constant attention made even simple, everyday moments difficult. 

“You feel frustrated by the lack of being able to live a normal life,” she confessed.

Miranda juggles life as a mum of four as she is now happily married to Snapchat billionaire Evan Spiegel since 2017.

She also previously joked that she replies to most messages with the juggling emoji and called motherhood a constant “juggling act.”
