Sabrina Carpenter, who walked empty handed out of 2026 Grammy Awards sparked a buzz among fans over her reaction towards Lola Young's win.

Lola Young known for her debut album My Mind Wanders and Sometimes Leaves Completely, won against the Please, Please, Please singer in category of Best Pop Solo Performance.

She won for her song Messy and was up against, Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan.

While Young was excited and shocked over her first ever win, in her acceptance speech she admitted that she hadn't prepared a speech.

Young said, "Sorry, sorry, sorry! It’s messy, you know what I mean?"

As the quite humble moment was met with a fits of laughter from the room, the camera panned to the audience, with some fans noticing that Espresso singer didn't appear quite so thrilled.

The Grammy winner seemed to pull a bemused face and turned to chat to her peers at her table.

One user on X (formerly Twitter), wrote, "Did anyone else clock that shady look sabrina carpenter gave lola young??"

Another said, "Yo sabrina carpenter lowkey gave a messy a-- look did yall see that s—t."

Carpenter was nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Music Video for Manchild.

Meanwhile her album Man’s Best Friend was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
