Ray J’s estranged wife Princess Love had gotten a restraining order against the rapper, which prevented him from reaching out to her and their children but in light of his recent health scares, she has reconsidered the legal action.
The TV personality had been granted the order, which also prevented the Envy actor from coming in contact with the duo’s two kids, Melody, 7, and Epik Norwood, 6 following an alleged incident involving a gun.
After the 45-year-old’s recent social media updates about his hospitalization and claims that he has “months to live” after longstanding heart issues and struggles with pneumonia, the fashion designer has reportedly softened up.
As per Page Six, the former couple attended a hearing at the San Fernando, Los Angeles, courthouse on Friday regarding the amendment of the restraining order.
“The restraining order was modified to allow Ray J to have unlimited contact with his children and wife,” Ray J’s lawyer told the outlet.
During the hearing, Princess Love said, “The children have been asking about him, they are worried about his health issues. I would like them to see their father. They would not be in any danger.”
Notably, the former couple was also photographed leaving the courthouse, after the judge granted the amendment, and appeared amicable as they walked close by.
