Ray J reveals that his heart is not functioning properly after being hospitalized
Ray J is giving his followers a long-awaited health update after concerning reports of the singer being hospitalised and being in a critical situation came out.
The Another Day in Paradise singer took to his Instagram to unveil his future plans to fans, and explain his physical struggles.
“My heart’s only beating like 25%, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, then everything will be all right. So thank you for all your prayers,” the 45-year-old said in the video on his social media.
“Just almost died!! I’m alive because of your prayers and support!! Shout out @lemuelplummer @thezeusnetwork — @tronixnetwork - all of the smaller guys we respect you kinda too! - a little bit! — let’s all keep working hard for 2026!!” he wrote in the caption of the post.
The rapper also promoted his reality TV streaming service, Tronix Network which is in partnership with Zeus.
Ray J’s health struggles are not new, as the actor had previously disclosed a life-threatening case of non-COVID pneumonia in 2021, but the 45-year-old appears to be powering through the issues and focusing on his professional endeavours.
