Zayn Malik, who was previously part of One Direction, sent the residency crowd in to a frenzy with his latest announcement.
The 33-year-old singer took the stage on January 30 to reveal something special lined up for the near future.
However, the Pillowtalk hitmaker was careful about his plans as he described “some news coming up in the next couple of weeks too.”
He gushed about not being able to describe the move, whether it’s an album, documentary or something else, as the musician “might get in trouble.”
Zayn stressed again: “I got stuff for you” which will be coming out in “next couple of weeks.”
The announcement not only sent the audience wild, but was also celebrated online.
Netizens stated they are restless, writing on X (formerly Twitter), “Next couple of weeks? Why not next couple of days.”
Another fan insisted: “OHH I’m UP” while an admirer tried decoding what it might be about: “Documentary, podcast or what? Can’t be the album cuz we already know about it.”
The Dusk Till Dawn crooner is all set to release his new studio record this year after performing several singles live at the residency concerts for the first time ever.
This came after he made the headlines for reportedly shading his former band member Harry Styles for having high tour ticket prices.
Meanwhile, Harry is yet to address the shade as he prepares to tour after confirming album Kiss All The Time, Disco, Occasionally.
