Ray J, the 45-year-old singer and reality TV personality who famously dated Kim Kardashian in the early 2000s, has delivered a sobering health update, warning that he may have only a short time left to live following a series of medical crises.
In a video shared to social media this week, Ray J said doctors told him he “may not live past 2027,” a prognosis that has sparked widespread concern among fans.
In the emotional clip, the One Wish artist, whose real name is William Raymond Norwood Jr., appeared distressed, saying, “2027 is definitely a wrap for me, that’s what they say,” before reflecting on his life and family.
According to Daily Mail, he expressed love for his children and said he had “done his part,” even requesting that he be burned rather than buried when his time comes.
The unsettling comments come days after Ray J revealed that his heart is functioning at only about 25 per cent capacity following a recent hospitalization for severe pneumonia and chest pain.
Moreover, he told followers he “just almost died,” and has since been staying close to family, including his sister, R&B star Brandy, and parents, who have helped with medical support.
Earlier this month, Ray J was rushed to a Las Vegas hospital after experiencing intense heart pain and respiratory distress, marking a recurrence of serious illness he first faced in 2021.
While no official medical records have been released, the rapper’s candid disclosure has ignited concern online, with fans and fellow celebrities offering prayers and urging him to priorities rest.
