Kanye West has issued an official statement addressing his past anti-Semitic remarks.

The 48-year-old rapper, who is mainly known because of his controversies, finally detailed the reasons behind the act.

The music mogul, in a full-page Wall Street Journal advertisement, titled the statement, To Those I've Hurt.

Ye, formerly known as Kanye, began with the incident that was the root cause behind the things that later made him realise his wrongdoing.

Bianca's husband marked his car accident in 2002, which affected his brain, resulting in the harsh challenges that he faced over the years.

“I lost touch with reality. Things got worse the longer I ignored the problem. I said and did things I deeply regret,” he penned.

The father of four declared, “I am not a Nazi or an antisemite,” and asserted that he loves Jewish people and is committed to accountability and treatment.

However, while speaking of the Black community and those who are close to him, he admitted that he let many people down during a manic episode in early 2025.

Moreover, Kanye also made a rare confession about working on his mental health, saying that he has started his treatment, including therapy, helping him with his mood swings, along with medication to control hormonal imbalances.
