Chris Pratt has recently voiced his views about artificial intelligence actor Tilly Norwood.
The Guardians of the Galaxy actor got candid regarding the frenzy of AI performers at the New York premiere of the sci-fi thriller Mercy on January 20.
In an exclusive interview with Variety, the 46-year-old shared, “I don’t feel like someone’s gonna replace me that’s AI.”
The American actor and film producer went on to mark, “I heard this Tilly thing, I think that’s all bullshit.”
The Jurassic World actor stated during the opening, “I’ve never seen her in a movie. I don’t know who this bitch is. It’s all fake until it’s something.”
In addition, The Tomorrow War star mentioned that AI does not threaten human employment but can be “an amazing tool in the right hands.”
The actor from Parks and Recreation emphasised that AI is inevitable to shake the industry, yet he was confident that great filmmakers will keep producing great movies.
“I don’t think you’re going to replace the human soul of a director or a writer or an actor or a singer or any of this stuff that requires human yearning and suffering and vision in art,” adds Chris while talking about AI.
For the unfamiliar, Tilly is an artificial intelligence actress made by a Dutch comedian named Eline Van der Velden.
