Peter Claffey, who stepped into the lead role of A Knight of Seven Kingdoms, spin off series of Games of Thrones opens up about his experience filming it.
Based on novella series by George R.R. Martin, the story follows Ser Duncan "Dunk" the Tall (Claffey) and his diminutive squire, Egg (Dexter Sol Ansel).
The six-episode series is about a century before the original series begins and sees Dunk and Egg facing "great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits."
In conversation with People magazine, the Bad Sisters star said, "I was a massive original Games of Thrones series fan. I was there for the whole thing, so I understand the reverence that people have for this."
As the new season begins, he expressed hope that the spin-off will be well received, adding that the cast and crew worked very hard to satisfy both book and TV fans.
While sharing his overall experience, the Small Things Like These actor, added, "It is quite terrifying," having to live something of that huge scale.
In addition to Claffey, Ansel other stars include, Finn Bennett, Henry Ashton, Tanzyn Crawford, Sam Spruell and few more.
A Knight of Seven Kingdoms is now streaming on HBO Max.
