Paul Mescal held back on details about what to expect from the upcoming highly anticipated The Beatles biopic.
The Irish actor is set to portray Paul McCartney opposite to Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, Harris Dickson as John Lennon and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.
While sharing tit bits from his role, such as, singing on his own while portraying the legend, Mescal in conversation with Variety, said that he is reluctant to give too much away and ruin the cinema experience for fans.
He admitted, "To be honest, I can say very little, actually contractually, but also I’m kind of keen to say very little about it."
The Aftersun star further said that by keeping the details away he is benefitting the world "from knowing as little as possible" before watching it.
However, the Oscar-nominee overall described his experience working on the project as a "totally singular" feeling.
The Gladiator II actor continued, "The four of us inside it are pinching ourselves. On a personal level, I’m so thrilled to be working on something at this scale."
The 29-year-old artist explained that the project is grounded in performance and guided by director Sam Mendes.
Mescal described that the role provides a sense of stability after several hectic years following the Normal People success.
