Jason Momoa teased his fans on what's in store for A Minecraft Movie sequel.

The original part which was released last year on April 24, held the second position of the all-time highest grossing video game adaptation worldwide with $958 million box office.

Following the success and film getting renewed for a sequel, the Aquaman star in an appearance at The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, revealed that the project is going into production soon.

"Very soon. Dude, Bro, end of April. They're in it," the Chief of War star said.

He went on to tease what's coming in the next instalment, saying the script had him "laughing out loud" while reading it.

Momoa continued, "I was perplexed on the first script, this one I’m laughing out loud."

The Games of Throne actor played a champion pro gamer, Garrett 'The Garbage Man' Garrison. He starred alongside, Jack Black as Steve, Emma Myers as Natalie.

In addition to them, Danielle Brooks plays Dawn, Sabastian Hansen as Henry and Jennifer Coolidge as Marlene.

The film followed four misfits, Garrett, Henry, Natalie and Dawn, getting pulled in by a portal in the Overworld, a cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination.

In order to get to the real world, the four of them must go through a tough terrain guided by crafter named Steve.

The second instalment of A Minecraft Movie is slated for release on July 23, 2027.
