J.Cole has given his listeners, one of which is LeBron James, a highly anticipated and exciting update about the future.

The First Person Shooter singer took to his social media to reveal that he is going to drop his seventh studio album The Fall-Off on February 6, 2026 and to mark his comeback the rapper took to his social media and shared a montage of himself.

Soon after, the renowned Los Angeles Lakers player took to his Instagram stories to re-share the update, adding in the caption “CAN’T WAIT!!!” with a popcorn bucket and film emoji.

LeBron also wrote, “COLE WORLD,” with the globe emoji indicating that he is a big fan of the She Knows singer, who has also mentioned the former in a number of lyrics as the standard of excellence.

In the clip, the 40-year-old raps on an unreleased track’s snippet, “Picture my soul climbing out of the infinite hole / Where n***as die over pride and live,” as he performs mundane tasks like washing his car eating alone at a diner and reflecting.

The upcoming album is speculated to contain similar introspective themes of living life in the public eye, legacy and pride.
