Tommy Lee’s daughter Victoria Jones breathed her last at 31 on New Year’s day, and the cause of death was a suspected overdose.
The Men In Black star’s daughter was found unresponsive at the Fairmont San Francisco hotel and pronounced dead soon after.
It appears that the Academy Award winner did take measures to keep his daughter in his care and under supervision.
As per People, Marin County Superior Court docket entries show that the 79-year-old filed a petition on 7th August, 2023 seeking to gain temporary conservatorship over his daughter.
As per the outlet, the court index showed a “Petition for Appointment of Temporary Conservator of the Person,” along with other things.
A judge approved the request later, but the person overseeing Victoria was to be a professional temporary conservator.
The details of why Tommy requested the conservatorship are not publicly available neither is any medical information or hospital records.
It is not far-fetched to assume, even with limited details, that the father-of-two knew that his daughter was struggling and was concerned about her.
Notably, the authorities in San Fransico, along with the emergency dispatch that arrived after the hotel employees called that day.
They mentioned that Victoria was classified as a code 3 for overdose, with low oxygen in her blood causing a visible change in her appearance.
Tommy’s wife is Dawn Laurel-Jones and the pair shared daughter Victoria together.
