Nikki Glaser recently got honest about the edgy roast she cut from her Golden Globes monologue script.
Glaser, who is known for her brutal stand-up comedy, recently hosted the 83rd annual Golden Globes ceremony.
During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, the 41-year-old featured hot jokes, which were suspended due to the absence of various celebrities.
The media personality pulled back the punchlines of actors, including Sean Penn, Julia Roberts, and Brad Pitt.
The American comedian shared the jest and exclaimed, “Tonight is a night of celebration, but we can’t ignore that it’s a weird time in Hollywood.”
The Roast of Tom Brady star added, “People just aren’t going to the theatre to see things."
She continued referencing the Euphoria actress, "If you don’t believe me, there was a movie this year where Sydney Sweeney played a lesbian who just bounced around in tiny shorts for two hours, and it made $14.”
The quip marked Christy, a biopic film portraying boxer Christy Martin. Notably, Sweeney underwent a lot of changes to match Martin's character, however, it ended up being a huge box-office disaster in 2025.
It is to mention that this year marked Glaser's second time hosting the prestigious event.
Additionally, the star concluded the ceremony with a tribute to Rob Reiner wearing a 'Spinal Tap' hat, saying his famous line, "This one goes to 11."
