Scott Adams has kicked the bucket at the age of 68 after he lost a long health battle on January 13, 2026.

The news of his sad passing was confirmed after his wife revealed a special, last statement that the comic man prepared for his death.

Shelly Miles Adams unveiled about his death in a live stream on Tuesday. He stated: “I had an amazing life. I gave it everything I had.”

In 2025, the digital provocateur shared a heart-breaking update about suffering from prostate cancer.

Although the creator was initially planning to keep it private, he was motivated after President Joe Biden opened up about his struggles with the disease.

He found the president’s diagnosis to be relatable, extending his “respect and compassion for the ex-president and his family because they are going through an especially tough time.”

The designer admitted that prostate cancer is a “terrible” ailment. He began working on a cubicle whiteboard while serving as an engineer for the Pacific Bell Telephone company.

His refined Dilbert comic first appeared in 1989 and was published in 2000+ global newspapers.

Why was Scott Adams cancelled?

However, Scott came under fire for passing a racist remark, describing people of colour as a member of a “hate group” which should be avoided by others.
