Jennifer Lawrence is offering a candid look at her marriage to art dealer Cooke Maroney, revealing a key rule she and her husband use to keep their relationship strong amid the demands of family life and her Hollywood career.

The Oscar-winning actress discussed the insight during a Jan. 12 appearance on the SmartLess podcast, where she highlighted the importance of flexibility in their daily routine.

Lawrence, who shares two young children with Maroney, described how the couple’s differing personalities initially posed challenges.

She called Maroney “the anchor” of their household, praising his organizational skills, especially when it comes to managing their children’s strict schedule.

While she admits she’s naturally more relaxed and sometimes struggles with timing, Lawrence said she’s grown to appreciate the structure her husband brings to family life.

“To keep our marriage alive,” Lawrence explained, “I have a 15-minute wiggle room” when it comes to punctuality, a compromise that allows both partners to meet in the middle and prevent tension over schedules.

According to People, the actress even joked that rigid timing could “put strain on a relationship” if they didn’t allow for small leeways.

The couple, married since 2019, have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, but Lawrence’s recent remarks provide a glimpse into how they balance work, parenting and personal connection.
