Timothée Chalamet is continuing his winning streak this year with Marty Supreme, as he takes home his first-ever Golden Globe.
The Dune actor’s latest trophy comes after he also won the Critic’s Choice award in the same category, Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.
In his acceptance speech, the 30-year-old began by saying, “Wow, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart,” before going on to mention that he is in a category with many greats.
Chalamet then thanked the director of the ping-pong film, Josh Safdie and gave a shout-out to his cast members before talking about gratitude.
“My dad instilled in me a spirit of gratitude growing up. ‘Always be grateful for what you have.’ It’s allowed me to leave the ceremony in the past empty handed with my head held high. I’d be lying if I said those moments didn’t make this moment that much sweeter,” he added.
The Little Women actor also gave a shout out to his parents and his partner Kylie Jenner once again before he ended his speech.
Notably, Chalamet’s wins and performance in Marty Supreme has sparked a lot of buzz about the actor winning the prestigious Oscar this year, as well as many speculating that his winning streak is a good sign for the contender.
Yes, Kylie Jenner and Chalamet are still together two years after the first started dating.
