The Kid Laroi, whose real name Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, sparked a debate online as he updated fans about the new album releasing on January 9, 2026.
After the singer collaborated with several musicians from the industry, the 22-year-old announced his studio record Before I Forget in November last year.
The musician turned to his X (formerly Twitter) to pen down: “Best album yet, I promise.” The update sparked a debate if he actually means it.
One of the X users criticised: “Sick of you crying every album” and demanded that the fans “want the energy.”
However, many jumped in to defend the musician and put their trust in the singer: “Alright brother, I have high expectations now and that is because of this statement.”
A third fan was of the opinion that it “sounds MADD Good Bro!!”
This came after the singer dropped his debut album The First Time on November 10, 2023, which was a commercial success.
Soon after it was made live, the studio record ranked in top three on the “ARIA Albums Chart.” Prior to the initiation of his discography, he worked on tracks like Without You and Stay featuring Justin Bieber.
It appears fans are looking forward to the songs and are anticipating they all match the level of his previous music projects.
