Doechii and SZA, both notable in the music industry, have brought out a collaborative single Get, Get Up before 2026 begins.
The 27-year-old rapper released a video clip for the song which features a lady performing steamy moves on a yacht.
It seemingly brings together hip-hop beats with a sample from What Happened to That Boy? By The Neptunes while calling out “industry plant” through the lyrics.
The new track received rave review from the online community as they expressed their excitement for upcoming album in 2026.
One of the X users was of the opinion that the studio record “is going to be a standout moment,” while another believes that Doechii “ended Akademiks, Ovhoes & Nicki [Minaj].”
Someone pointed out that the musician is dissing Nicki because she “called her plant.”
Meanwhile, a fan crowned her the “best female rapper right now; no one else can stand at her table.”
In 2024, the Persuasive singer confirmed she will be dropping her debut album in 2026 after she rose to fame with her mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal.
Apart from SZA as a tease, more famous musicians are expected to be featured on the new songs.
Many believe that the studio record might be “coming soon” as no release date has been announced.
