Channing Tatum has remembered his late friend and former co-star James Ransone with fond words in a tribute.
The duo co-starred in The Son of No One and the Magic Mike actor is one of the people who have marked The Black Phone actor’s death.
In a story on his Instagram, the Step Up actor shared a picture of the two smiling, with a heartfelt caption.
"There ain't words for these things. But you my friend... was one of the realest. I remember being in every conversation with you and just always being like I wonder what he's gonna say.!!??? Lololol," Channing wrote.
"I love you PJ I'll see you on the next one my G," he added in the caption of the post on December 24, day after James’s death, joining fellow actors such as Chloë Sevigny, Spike Lee and Sean Baker, in co-worker tributes.
The actor, who is best known for playing the character Ziggy Sobotka in The Wire, passed away at 46 by suicide.
James’s death devastated his fan and those who worked with him, and reignited the conversation around mental health.
James committed suicide by hanging in his shed.
