Timothee Chalamet has pulled the best tricks out of his bag to promote his new movie Marty Supreme, which is being tipped as one of the best movies of the year.
The movie follows the story of young Marty Mauser in 1950s who is passionate to become a tennis player.
While Timothee’s star prowess and casual promotions could be enough to fill theatres, the actor has gone above and beyond to reach the public.
The Oscar-nominated actor is also being tipped to finally win his first Oscar in 2026 for this very project.
A person wrote on X praising Timothee’s efforts to bring people to cinemas in the era of online streaming saying “this is how you know he’s truly doing this for the love of cinema”.
Another wrote “People will hate on him but you need this kind of marketing to get people on seats to watch the movies. Nothing is guaranteed anymore.”
One person wrote on X saying this is all for the revered Oscar saying “he wants that oscar so badly omg”.
Timothee has previously been nominated for the Best Actor Oscar twice. First in 2018 for Call Me by Your Name and recently in 2025 for A Complete Unknown.
The actor’s latest stunt to promote the movie was to climb on the top of Sphere in Las Vegas.
Previously he collaborated with British rapper EsDeeKid, who was believed to be Timothee himself.
The movie will release in theatres globally on December 25.
