British singer and fashion icon Victoria Beckham reacted to being called “Lady Posh”.
The fashion designer was one of the most famous singers in the world when her girl group Spice Girls rose to fame in the 1990’s.
After the group stopped making usic, the singer turned her attention towards fashion and has cemented her position as a bona fide fashion mogul.
Recently, the pop star’s husband David Beckham was knighted by King Charles in November.
The knighthood honoured the couple officially with the titles of “Sir” and “Lady”.
On Monday, the mother-of-four made an appearance on What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
The host asked her if she is now “Lady Victoria” to which Posh replied “I am Lady Beckham”.
Andy asked her if he can call her “Lady Posh” referring to the nickname she was given while in Spice Girls.
“Listen, whatever you want”, Victoria replied, “Whatever you want, anything for you”.
When a person is knighted, he gets the title of “Sir” and his wife automatically receives the title of “Lady” however, it is up to the person to officially use it.
