Jeremy Allen White ‘gets nervous’ while discussing rom-coms

Jeremy Allen White has spilled about a potential rom-com feature to Kate Hudson, but his nervous demeanour is making netizens speculate if such a role is already in the works.

The Bear star has been cast in dramatic, serious roles and has even dipped his toes in comedy but the 34-year-old is open to showing off more of his range.

When asked by the Song Sung Blue singer during Variety’s Actors on Actors conversation if the Shameless actor would consider doing a rom-com he stated, “I’d love to. I’ve never done one before but they seem so fun.”

Kate then warned that they were tougher than he’d think, since the actors want to keep the audience at the forefront of their mind while making them.

“I worry about finding the right character, because I’d want it to be a classic rom-com. Not a flash in the pan, but “When Harry Met Sally,” Jeremy added after the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress’s remark.

The clip was reposted on social media, with a netizen writing, “why'd he get weird all of a sudden? lol ik he read the bear season 5 scripts.”

Notably, Jeremy does appear to be nervous in the clip, which could indicate that he might already have a romantic role bagged for the near future.
