Jeremy Allen White is reportedly rumoured to star alongside Ben Stiller for an adaptation film of the non-fiction book, The Lost Airman: A True Story of Escape From Nazi-Occupied France, written by Seth Meyerowitz.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, the 34-year-old actor is in ‘various stages of talks’ with the producers.
According to the reports by the above-mentioned outlet, A24, the production company, is currently in negotiations to land the package with Jeremy playing the star and Ben taking the lead behind the camera as director and producer.
The film will be titled Airman and is speculated to begin production in 2027. It follows the story of Arthur Meyerowitz, an American turret-gunner whose B-24 bomber was shot down over Vichy France in 1943.
Meanwhile, as per Deadline, Jeremy is also being considered to lead the upcoming sequel, The Social Network II, as he prepares to film the fifth season of his TV series, The Bear.
On the other hand, Ben has been busy serving as the executive producer and director for the Emmy-winning show, Severance, on Apple TV+.
For the unversed, the 59-year-old actor made a cameo appearance in Adam Sandler’s film, Happy Gilmore 2.
Jeremy Allen White’s character, Carmy, might be leaving the restaurant, The Bear, but Jeremy will not exit the show in the fifth season, as his character will go on a self-reflective journey away from the kitchen.
