Jeremy Allen White, during his acceptance speech at the Primetime Emmy Awards 2023, expressed his gratitude towards all the people stuck by his side the previous year when he was having trouble believing in himself.
As PEOPLE confirmed, The Bear star took the podium on Monday to share a few words after receiving his first Emmy at the 2023 Honors for Outstanding Lead Actor in the comedy series.
"Thank you to all those who stayed close to me, especially this past year. Thank you for believing in me when I had trouble believing in myself," he said during his speech.
Not to mention, the past year White’s wife, Addison Timlin, filed for divorce in May after over three years of exchanging vows.
At the 75th annual Primetime Emmys, he praised himself for emerging stronger than ever from his troubles and added, "I am so proud, I am so full of gratitude, to be standing in front of you all."
