Josh O’ Connor is talking about one of his favourite films, Ratatouille, on Saturday Night Live, along with a passionate rant about how he could be featured in it.

The Challengers star began by mentioning how him praising the animated film went viral and fans started envisioning him as Linguini, if there were to be a live action remake.

However, as The Crown actor goes on to disclose that he didn’t see the online chatter until, “the President of Disney Pixar publicly declared” that the possibility of live action remake of the beloved comedy is nonexistent.

“Do you know how it feels to be publicly rejected from a job I didn’t even want,” and after mentioning his part in Knives Out, Josh went back to taking about Ratatouille.

“Sorry, for what it’s worth I would kill as Linguini,” he said before going on to say how the remake couldn’t be made without a perfect cast.

Josh also advocated for Jeff Goldblum to be cast as the food critic Anton Ego, which the audience appeared to be in agreement with.

Notably, The Crown actor also poked fun at himself by comparing his appearance to the mouse from Flushed Away.
