Meghan Markle dragged by half-sister after claims she reached out to Thomas Markle

The Markle family feud has reignited in dramatic fashion, and this time, Samantha Markle is taking her anger with Meghan Markle public.

Meghan’s estranged half-sister launched a blistering social media attack, accusing the Duchess of being “fake” while their father, Thomas Markle, remains hospitalised in the Philippines after a major medical emergency.

Samantha posted an AI-generated clip on X showing Meghan flying on a broomstick, holding a sign that read “fake as ever.”

She doubled down in her caption, claiming: "Sources report seeing my sister in the area of the hospital Dad is in. Could she be living up to all of that paid PR?"

There is no confirmation Meghan is anywhere near the hospital, and the Duchess’s office declined to comment.

Samantha later updated followers on their father’s health, writing he would "be okay" and that "recovery time will do him good and the rest will sort itself out."

The attack came shortly after Meghan’s spokesperson revealed she had "reached out" to her father, who reportedly had his left leg amputated, in an attempt to make contact after years of estrangement.

But Thomas Markle told the Mail on Sunday he was "confused" by the claim, insisting he had received nothing and had not changed his phone number.

The paper also reported Meghan sent an email to an address he had not used “for at least five years.”

That report triggered an angry pushback from Meghan’s camp. A source close to the Duchess said: "Had they asked, particularly in light of the quotes they relied upon from Mr Markle and hospital staff – we would simply have told them to ask Mr Markle to check his email."

The insider also accused the newspapwer of "puppeteering this desperately sad situation."

According to the source, Meghan has already, provided reporters with means of contacting her father, supplied the hospital name, and called multiple hospitals in the Philippines trying to locate him.

However, it is understood Meghan does not have her father’s current phone number and believes he has no phone access in hospital.
