Sabrina Carpenter and the Trump Administration’s back and forth took the internet by storm, but it seems like the saga isn’t over yet.
The headline making interaction took place on social media, after The White House posted a montage of ICE officials detaining people in the streets of Chicago, which the Juno singer quickly denounced.
In a recent turn of events, the video got removed from the official account it was uploaded on, and netizens marked a win for the Short n’ Sweet hit maker.
However, The White House took to their X (formerly Twitter) to post another video from Sabrina’s latest Saturday Night Live appearance with Marcello Hernández.
In the clip, the Nobody’s Son singer makes a reference to one of her famous tour traditions, ‘arresting’ people for being ‘too hot.’
The video has now been taken out of context and used by the Trump administration to warn "PSA: If you're a criminal illegal, you WILL be arrested & deported,” with a sparkle emoji.
Sabrina had previously taken to her own platform to slam the use of her song for their ‘inhumane agenda’ on the first video and garnered a lot of support for raising her voice against the matter.
Notably, some fans are talking about how they foresaw the provokation happening again since Trump’s team does such things to get a rise out of people.
Meanwhile others are urging Sabrina to take legal action or sue the parties responsible.
