Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man first look poster drops: Release date announced

The Peaky Blinders universe is officially back in business and fans are losing it.

Pop Base sent social media into meltdown today after dropping the first poster for the highly anticipated Peaky Blinders film, along with its global release date.

According to the post, the movie will hit Netflix on March 20, marking the long-awaited return of Tommy Shelby and the Shelby crime empire.

The poster, which instantly went viral on X, features Cillian Murphy as Tommy in a dark, smoke-filled backdrop, hat brim low, with blood drops running down the side of his face, a callback to the series’ most iconic imagery. 

The film which is written by series creator Steven Knight was hinted at for years with several production delays and secrecy adding to the hype.

Within minutes the name started to trend on the internet. The release date announcement and the post coming in feels like a dream come true to the fans of BBC drama after the end of the six-season-long show in 2022.

“When Tommy Shelby shows up, you know chaos is about to be premium.” one fan wrote. “That poster already screams intensity and drama. March 20th can’t come soon enough..”

Netflix is yet to release an official trailer of the movie but today’s poster drop marks the first major promotional step and signals that promotions for the film are about to kick into full swing.
