American actres Kate Walsh has left Grey’s Anatomy fans jumping from joy.
The 58-year-old rose to global fame when she starred as Dr. Addison Montgomery on the hit medical drama.
Now, the actress is slated to reprise her role as the surgeon in the upcoming season of the show.
The long-running drama series dropped its 22nd season in 2025 with new episodes to release soon.
The Bad Judge star is expected to make a guest appearance at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, the hospital in the show she worked at, on the episode airing Jan. 29, 2026, titled “Strip That Down.”
Kate last appeared on the show in season 19 as a star guest.
She first joined the show from the season finale of season 1 and went on to feature as a show regular up till season 3.
The actress has also starred in the show’s spinoff series, Private Practice, for six seasons from 2007 to 2013.
The medical drama first aired in 2005 and has had 22 seasons since with multiple cast members leaving and rejoining.
It also holds the record for the longest-running primetime medical drama.
