Meghan Markle’s one of major projects is her Netflix show With Love, Meghan.
On December 3, the show’s holiday special was released ahead of the festive season.
In the show, Meghan shared her recipes and how she celebrates the festive season in US with her family after moving from UK.
Towards the end of the season, Prince Harry also makes a surprise cameo and comments on Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland making the best Gumbo.
Since the show’s first season dropped earlier in March, the show has been criticised for being “inauthentic” and “awful”.
Monica Hesse, who writes for The Washington Post, called Meghan’s lifestyle career an “experiment with aggressive hospitality”.
Esther Krakue of Sky News Australia declared the series to be “unwatchable”.
On the British Isles, the show could not please the Irish as Ed Power wrote for The Irish Times said the show was “an onslaught of Christmas naffness the awfulness of which seems obvious to everyone except poor Meghan”.
While Meghan tried to bring the American and British Christmas together it fell flat and Harry’s cameo could not save it either.
