Joseph Morgan has some exciting news for The Originals fans, after he reminisced on his role in the series on social media.

The actor played Klaus Mikaelson in The Vampire Diaries and its spinoff series with a cult following, and it appears that fans of the vampires might get a chance to meet them at a luxurious, themed event.

Taking to his social media Joseph reflected on his evergreen role, writing "Thank you for the incredible heart wrenching heart ripping journey, it was a glorious ride and I loved every moment of it,” alongside a image of him from the series.

A day after the thre throwback post, the Legacies actor revealed that he has another trick up his sleeve.

Joseph, along with Daniel Gillies, who played Elijah Mikaelson and their sister Freya Mikaelson, played by Riley Voelkel as well as the rest of the cast will all show up at an exclusive fan event in January of 2026.

The description for the event begins, “This is not a convention. This is an invitation,” of the Mikaelson Ball set at the Ritz Carlton in New Orleans.

“The Mikaelson family gathers in the city where their story began. Limited seating. One night. No cameras. No phones. What happens inside stays inside,” it adds with a drop of blood emoji.

Notably, the $1,800 ticket contains many perks for fans including food, pictures and interaction with the stars and custom memorabilia.

Which originals are still alive?

The original vampires still alive at the end of the series are Rebekah (played by Claire Holt) and Kol (played by Nathaniel Buzolic).
