Paul Mescal, who starred as William Shakespeare in his latest movie, Hamnet has revealed, how the movie has played a huge role in his life.

The movie, directed by Chloé Zhao was revealed on November 26 and has received positive reviews from the critics so far.

The 29-year-old actor reflected on the impact the movie has left on his life and revealed to E! News, “If the film’s taught me anything, and it’s taught me many things.”

He further elaborated that he now believes that you can’t become a great version of yourself without the support and love from people around you.

The Gladiator II actor stated that since every individual is supposed to carve out their own path, it is a lot more “fun and exciting” to do it with people who wants to love and to be loved.

He also previously talked to IndieWire and compared the new movie launch with having a baby and how personal it feels when people comment on it in a bad way.

“It is like giving a baby out into the world and we’re so, so thrilled that people seem to be… understanding the film that we made as filmmakers. It’s a big, big relief." He concluded.

For the unversed, Joe Alwyn and Jessie Buckley stars along with Paul in the newest movie.
