Katy Perry is embracing Chinese culture while visiting the country as part of her Lifetimes tour, taking part in the traditions of the culturally rich land.

The Dark Horse singer has been spotted wearing a qipao style dress in images she posted on her Instagram and in a live stream she did, likely for her Chinese audience since she was with a translator.

In the caption alongside the carousel of images of the pop star’s adventures in China, the 41-year-old wrote, “Nǐ hǎo from Hangzhou,” with a heart emoji, indicating that she had also adopted the language of the land.

“Fun fact: here in China my nickname here is Fruit Sister. How adorable is that?!” Katy continued in the caption, adding a number of fruit emojis.

In fan-captured footage, the Last Friday Night singer could also be seen praying at a temple in the country, looking completely engrossed in the act.

The social media users on X took playful jabs at Katy for the act, with many speculating that she was praying for one of her albums.

Does Katy Perry have any children?

Yes, Katy is the mom of a four-year-old daughter. On August 26, 2020, Katy Perry and her ex-fiancé, Orlando Bloom, had welcomed their little bundle of joy, Daisy Dove Bloom.
